Iranian firms implementing development plans in 60 countries:Iranian official

TEHRAN,Oct.18(MNA) – Over 120 Iranian companies are currently implementing development plans in 60 countries, the chairman of the association of Iranian exporters of technical and engineering services stated. “Last year, Iranian companies managed to export as much as $4.2 billion worth of technical and engineering services despite global sanctions,” Mohammad-Reza Ansari said. He added that the Iranian companies have the potential to carry out up to $20 billion worth of project per year. Iran exported some $1.6 billion worth of technical and engineering services during the first half of the current Iranian calendar year, which began on March 20, Ansari noted. The economic crisis in the West is a welcome opportunity for Iranian companies to expand exports of services, he noted.
