Iran’s new ambassador submits credentials to Uzbek president

TEHRAN,Oct.20(MNA) – New Iranian ambassador to Tashkent Ali Mardanifar submitted his credentials to President Islam Karimov on Friday. In the meeting, the two sides held talks on various issues, including bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region and the world. Karimov said that the two countries share many historical and cultural affinities and should utilize the potential to cement ties in all spheres.
