Nursultan Nazarbayev made business trip around Astana

Astana, 22 October 2008, (Khabar) - Nursultan Nazarbayev has made a business
trip around Astana and visited the new multi-story "Avitesenna-Elit"
residential complex. 46 families are expected to hold their house warming
parties there, since the residential facility has already been put into
service. The new complex is an elite one. It is a medium-sized building with
a car park on the ground floor with all the apartments having at least
three-rooms with ready-to-use decorations. The residential complex has a
playground and a fenced football pitch, and a park stocked with sculptures.
In the lobby of one of its largest apartments, the construction company
presented the President with its main projects to be implemented in Astana.
The 'Northern Lights" 500-flat residential complex has already been finished
as well and consists of three towers with the highest one being a 42 storey
building.

Seitzhapar Alimzhanov, general director, "Bazis-Astana" JSC:
- This building is unique for Kazakhstan because all of their outside walls
are made of glass.

The Astana Financial Tower was also opened ahead of Republic Day. The
20-storey facility with a total area of 29 thousand square metres, is
situated in the heart of the capital to serve as a business centre. Over the
past 9 months, 790.5 thousand square metres of housing was commissioned in
Astana thanks to the 107 billion tenge allocated by the Government to
support the Republic's construction market and financial organisations.
