Annual cement output projected at 75m tons

TEHRAN,Oct.21(MNA) - Iran is projected to produce 75 million tons of cement by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2013), ISNA quoted Iranian deputy industry minister, Vajihollah Jafari, as saying. The cement production capacity will stand at 86 million tons by the yearend, he noted. According to him, the share of the mining sector in non-oil exports and industrial exports are about 30 percent and 40 percent, respectively. Iran exported over 6.8 million tons of cement during the first six months of the current (Iranian) year.
