Dairy exports hit $398m over 6 months

TEHRAN,Oct.21(MNA) - Iran exported some $398 million worth of dairy products during the first half of the current Iranian year, which began on March 20, the Mehr News Agency quoted the secretary of the association of Iranian dairy producers, Reza Bakeri, as saying. He anticipated that the figure would reach $800 million by the end of the year. Some $2.3 worth of powdered milk has also been exported, he added. The exports of dairy products stood at $505 million last year, he noted.
