Iran opens two-million-ton iron ore plant

TEHRAN,Oct.27(MNA) – Iran will inaugurate today an iron ore concentrate plant, with the production capacity of two million tons per annum, in the city of Zarand, southeastern Kerman Province . Some €91 million plus 1.15 trillion rials (about $94 million) has been spent in the project. The private sector has established the plant within a period of 28 months. Another iron ore concentrate plant is being built which will double the production capacity.
