‘U.S. Senate urged European Parliament team to cancel trip to Tehran’

TEHRAN,Oct.30(MNA) – Iranian MP Kazem Jalali said that the United States Senate wrote a letter to the European Parliament to cancel a trip of its delegation to Tehran. Speaking to the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency on Monday, Jalali, the chairman of Iran-Europe Parliamentary Friendship Group, said the European Parliament delegation decided to cancel visit to Iran in the last minute, which is indicative of their dishonesty. The 15-memebr European Parliament delegation was scheduled to arrive in Iran on Sunday for a five-day visit.
