Iran Bans Export Of 50 Items

Tehran, Oct 30, IRNA – The Consumers and Producers Protecting Organization has lately announced that exports of 50 various industrial and petrochemical goods as well as foodstuff has been forbidden to support national production. Releasing a statement, the CPPO said that a number of foodstuff, aluminum and petrochemical products as well as certain industrial goods were among forbidden export products. Wheat, flour, sugar tube, vegetable oil, live cattle, meat, cooper cathode, copper wire, hide, car tires, all polymeric products and imported industrial and road-construction machinery as well as imported car spare parts and papers were among banned goods for export. Additionally, exports of fodder, soybean, aluminum and steel bars, scrap iron, paper waste, woods, imported rice and tea, molybdenum sulphur, hay, baby formula, wet blue, butter and steel products are another forbidden goods for export. Other banned export goods included, carbon smut, sodium sulphate, sodium carbonate, cosmic sodium, sulphonic acid, banzen, bicarbonate of soda, styrene monomer, Polyethylene, propilen, PVC, polystyrene, diethyl phthalate, polyethylene, terephthalate, acrylonitrile butanie styrene, melamine crystal and LAB. According to the report, all imported medical equipment purchased by reference ex-rates are also among the goods forbidden for exports./end
