Persepolis targets Deco: report

TEHRAN,Nov.6(MNA) – Persepolis coach Manuel Jose is interested in signing Fluminense midfielder Deco, according to an Iranian newspaper. The Persepolis Portuguese coach has decided to pen a contract with his compatriot for the last five matches in 2012, Goal sports daily wrote. Anderson Luis de Souza, commonly known as Deco, has played just five games for the Brazilian club in the current season and it seems Fluminense officials are reluctant to continue with the 35-year old player. Jose is going to find a replacement for South Korean defensive midfielder Kwon Jun, who left Persepolis due to a foot injury. Deco is one of the few players to have won the UEFA Champions League with two different clubs -- FC Porto in 2004 and FC Barcelona in 2006.
