Investigations show Mohsen Rezaii’s son was murdered in Dubai in 2011

TEHRAN,Nov.8(MNA) – Investigations that have been carried out so far demonstrate that Ahmad Rezaii, the son of Mohsen Rezaii, the secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council, had been murdered in Dubai in 2011, the Persian service of the Fars News Agency quoted Tehran homicide investigator as saying on Tuesday. It was reported on November 13, 2011, that Ahmad Rezaii had been found dead in his room at Gloria Hotel in Dubai. It was reported at the time that he had reportedly died after receiving an electric shock. The homicide investigator stated that certain evidence related to the incident has been destroyed or has not been handed over to Iran. He also stated that the United Arab Emirates police have so far refused to provide Iran with the personal belongings of Ahmad Rezaii.
