Low turnout for presidential election brought disgrace to U.S.: Iranian cleric

TEHRAN,Nov.10(MNA) – The leader of this week’s Friday prayers in Tehran said that the low turnout for the U.S. presidential election, which was held on November 6, brought disgrace to U.S. officials. If a similar election had been held in another country with the same level of turnout, a commotion would have been created, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati told worshippers at Friday prayers at the campus of the University of Tehran.
