Erbil Economic Commission To Open New Chapter In Iran-Kurdistan Ties

Erbil, Nov 17, IRNA - Representative of Iraqi Kurdistan region in Iran said Saturday the first meeting of Iran-Kurdistan Joint Economic Commission will open a new chapter in bilateral relations.
In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Nazem Omar Dabbagh added that the meeting, held on November 13-15 in Erbil, indicated that both sides enjoy amicable ties.
He further hoped the meeting would help boost bilateral cooperation.
The Iraqi official referred to over six-billion-dollar worth of trade exchange between the two, adding the two sides reached an agreement on doubling the current level of cooperation.
Some 900 officials, businesspersons and economic activists attended the meeting.
Iran's economic delegation to Erbil was led by Vice-President for International Affairs Ali Saeedlou./end
