Russian Analyst: Iran's Economic Policies Nullify Western Sanctions

Moscow, Nov 20, IRNA - - Head of the Iranology Department at the Russian Institute of Orientalism Affiliated to Russian Academy of Science Ms. Nina Mamdova said on Monday Iranian socio-economic policies nullified western countries' sanctions against it. She told IRNA that the West was trying to weaken Iran's economy but to no avail because of the new policies adopted and enforced by the Iranian government. Mamdova said the Iranian government is pursuing spedific social policies wih an aim of administering justice, reducing economic discrimination through its development plans and just distribution of incomes among all its citizens. She praised Iran's socio-economic policies to remove poverty and said such policies are based on not only religious beliefs but also international economic rules./end
