Hanoi to invest in water supply plant in Vientiane
Hanoi (VNA) - Hanoi-based Mai Dong company is launching a construction
project of Dong Bang safe water supply plant in the Lao capital of
Vientiane .
According to general director, Nguyen Viet Ha, the company contributed 80
percent of the 10 million US D investment to build a plant with a capacity
of 20,000 m3 per day.
It is scheduled to be put into operation in October 2009.
The project between the Vietnamese company and its Vientiane partner
is part of a cooperation framework between the two countries' capitals.
Mai Dong company also plans to build more safe water supply plants in two
Lao provinces of Savanakhet and Luongprabang.
