Minister of Finance delivers statement on joint meeting of GCC finance ministers and central bank governors 2 Riyadh
Dr. Al-Assaf praised the measures taken by GCC states to deal with
the possible consequences of the global financial crisis, stressing
the importance of continued follow-up to these consequences, and a
willingness to take the necessary action when needed.
The minister indicated that this crisis requires a global
cooperation and an international coordination to address it.
He commended the International Monetary Fund for announcing
the availability of the amount of $ 200 billion for lending with easy
conditions.
