Warsaw to host Iranian Film Week

TEHRAN,Dec.11(MNA) -- Fourteen Iranian movies will go on screen during the Iranian Film Week, which will open in Warsaw December 15. “So Close, So Far,” by Seyyed Reza Mirkarimi will be the opening film of the festival. Actor Mohammadreza Forutan and Qorban Najafi, actresses Merila Zarei, Elham Hamidi and Anna Nemati along with the directors Bahram Tavakkoli and Manuchehr Hadi will attend the review sessions, which will be held during the festival. “Here, Without Me” by Bahram Tavakkoli, “Mr. Yusef” by Ali Rafiei, “Invitation” by Ebrahim Hatamikia, “Canaan” by Mani Haqiqi and “Rooster Trademark Paper” by Maryam Milani are among the films that will go on screen during the event. The event is organized by Iran’s Visual Media Institute, Iran’s embassy and cultural attaché’s office in Warsaw and the Polish Filmmakers Association.
