Iran 2nd in WTF World Poomsae Championships

TEHRAN,Dec.11(MNA)--Iran finished in second place in the 7th WTF World Poomsae Championships held in Tunja, Colombia. Korea finished the competition as the top country with a total of 12 medals. Iran was not far behind with an impressive10 medals to place second. The U.S. had a tremendous showing during the tournament with a total of 6 medals, and also received an additional reward for the most improved team. Iran was the team scored golden for Men's Team competition and Egypt claimed silver medal, WTF reported. The competitions held at the Independence Stadium in Tunja, Boyaca, Colombia from 6 to 9 December. Over 500 athletes from 57 countries took part in the event.
