Thailand's ruling, opposition parties participate in Sports Day activities

BANGKOK, December 15 (TNA) - Thailand's Economic Reporters Association organized the Econmass Sports Day 2012 on Saturday, aimed to strengthen the relationship between politicians, business operators and the media through a series of badminton and futsal matches. Besides, visitors were invited to donate used CDs and electrical appliances to the Association of Persons with Physical Disability, International, to fund its wheelchairs project for persons with disabilities or PWDs in the country. Meanwhile, at 4pm local time, politicians of both the government and opposition camps participated in a futsal match against economic reporters. Leading the economic team for the government side is Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Kittirat Na Ranong, ICT Mnister Grout Captain Anudit Nakhontap, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister's Office Warathep Rattanakorn and Commerce Minister Boonsong Teriyapirom; while leading players from the opposition side included Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva and former Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij.
