Iranian president to attend Rumi festival

TEHRAN,Dec.16(MNA) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will attend a ceremony to commemorate the Persian mystic poet, Molana Rumi, in the Turkish city of Konya on Monday. Ahmadinejad will make the one-day visit at the invitation of Turkish government officials and will meet Emomalii Rahmon, the president of Tajikistan, and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister, on the sidelines of the ceremony. Turkey holds commemoration ceremony of Rumi annually in Konya, where the great Iranian poet is buried.
