18 Iranians released from Turkmenistan’s prisons

TEHRAN,Dec.16(MNA) - Eighteen Iranian prisoners in Turkmenistan were released on December 12, the Iranian deputy foreign minister for consular, parliamentary, and expatriates’ affairs, Hassan Qashqavi, announced on Saturday. The inmates were released on the occasion of the anniversary of Turkmenistan’s declaration of neutrality and on the orders of the country’s president, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
