Malaysia shows interests in investment in Savannakhet

(KPL) Malaysian investors focus their interests on energy, mining and agricultural areas in central province Savannakhet.
The statement was made when Malaysian Ambassador to Laos, Mr. Zalnal Abidin, called on Savannakhet Governor Vilayvanh Phomke early last week. He was warmly welcomed by the Governor.
Savannakhet Governor informed the visiting guest and his entourage about the favorable potentials and investment environment attracting to both domestic and foreign businesses.
Mr. Vilayvanh also highlighted the socio-economic development of the province and the investment of Malaysian businesses in the province.
Mr Abidin said that Savannakhet is the first province he wanted to visit after he was appointed to do diplomatic mission in Laos. Last year, the Malaysian Public Bank introduced its banking service to the province.
In the near future, many Malaysian investors will come to invest in this province, added the ambassador.
