100 hooligans arrested in Tehran

TEHRAN,Dec.26(MNA) - During a special operation in the early hours of Tuesday police arrested 100 hooligans in Tehran. The operation was part of the “neighborhood-based security plan,” which is being implemented in 375 neighborhoods of the capital to deal firmly with hooligans. The arrestees had committed offenses like hooliganism, brawling, distributing illicit drugs, mugging, and brandishing bowie knives.
