Iran rejects Turkish minister’s PKK accusations

TEHRAN,Dec.29(MNA) - Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on Friday expressed regret and surprise over the accusations by the Turkish interior minister who last week accused Iran of supporting the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants. In an interview with the Today's Zaman published on December 23, Turkish Interior Minister Idris Naim Sahin accused Iran of sheltering members of the PKK at its territory while providing the militants free rein to operate against Turkey.
