Iranian cleric advises S. Arabia against contributing to Western plot in Iraq

TEHRAN,Jan.5(MNA) – The leader of this week’s Friday prayers in Tehran has advised Saudi Arabia against assisting Western efforts to sow sectarian strife in Iraq. “The Westerners and their lackeys, while still being involved in the Syrian plot, have started a religious plot in Iraq in provinces of Saladin, Anbar, and Mosul. Unfortunately, Saudi Arabia is one of the supporters of the West and the United States in these conspiracies,” Ayatollah Ali Movahhedi Kermani told worshippers at Friday prayers at the campus of the University of Tehran.
