Persian books on display at Germany’s Colorful Children’s World

TEHRAN,Jan.7(MNA) -- A collection of Iranian children’s books are currently on display at the Colorful Children’s World, an international picture book exhibition, which is annually organized by Klingspor-Museum in Offenbach, Germany. The collection comprises Eighty-four books that have been selected by Shabaviz, one of the leading Iranian publishers of children’s books attending the gala. Among the books are “My Father Is Delicious with Sausage” written by Navid Seyyed Ali-Akbar and illustrated by Ali Mafakheri, “The Little Whale” written and illustrated by Lisa Jamileh, “Sea-Saw” by Farideh Khalatbari, “The Stories of the Cave” written by Marjan Keshavarzi-Azad and illustrated by Valeria Valenza. The Colorful Children’s World (Bunte Kinderwelt) exhibit runs until February 28 at the museum, which is dedicated to modern international books on art, typography and calligraphy. The museum has held the exhibition since 1956 to provide an opportunity for publishers to present their books at an international event.
