Iran takes initial steps to build nuclear fusion power plant

TEHRAN,Jan.9(MNA) – The construction of a small-scale model of a nuclear fusion power plant has started, Nasrin Soltankhah, the Iranian vice president for scientific and technological affairs, told on Tuesday. The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran embarked upon an experimental study aimed at developing a nuclear fusion reactor in 2010.
