"Yulianti`s cousin, who works in Malaysia, informed us that Yulianti had passed away on January 8. We were shocked to hear the news," said Yulianti`s father, Siswanto, on Thursday.
According to him, Yulianti died after several robbers attacked her in her room in Selingsing, Tamansari, Srikucing, Malaysia.

Yulianti`s mother, Muriah, was shocked to hear the tragic news.
"Over the past few days, I had been feeling uncomfortable and nervous," said Muriah.
She added that her daughters body will be transported to Indonesia either on January 10 or January 11.
"We are waiting for our daughters body," she said.
According to her, Yulianti had been working in a restaurant in Malaysia for about seven years to support her family.

The Chief of Sub-Official for Labour, Social Affairs and Transmigration in the Batang Regency, Ripyono, said the local government will look into the transportation of Yulianti`s body.
"The local government will provide assistance to the family. The government will look into the transportation of the body from either the Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang or the Adi Sucipto Airport in Yogyakarta to a venue provided by Yuliantis family," he said.
