Iran condemns hostage-taking incident in Algeria

TEHRAN,Jan.23(MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast on Monday condemned the recent deadly hostage-taking incident at a natural gas facility in eastern Algeria and expressed sympathy with the families of the victims. Mehmanparast also called on all the relevant regional and international organizations to take the measures necessary to prevent extremist groups from accomplishing their objectives.
