Kavakebian fielded as Mardomsalari Front’s presidential candidate

TEHRAN,Jan.26(MNA) – Iranian reformist leaning Mardomsalari Front (Democracy Front) on Thursday fielded its secretary general Mostafa Kavakebian as its candidate for the next presidential election, which is scheduled to be held on June 14. Kavakebian had previously said that if former president Mohammad Khatami stand as a candidate, the candidate of Mardomsalari Front will withdraw candidacy.
