Official: Western Sanctions Help Iran Youth To Use Talents

Bushehr, Feb 4, IRNA – Sanction policies of the arrogant powers against the Islamic Republic of Iranˈs energy sector has turned into an opportunity for emergence of talented Iranians, an Iranian official said. Managing director of South Pars Gas Complex Company Ali Akbar Shabanpour made the remarks in the opening ceremony of the first exhibition of capabilities and achievements of South Pars Gas Complex Company in Southern Bushehr province on Sunday. He noted that the western sanctions imposed on Iran, particularly the countryˈs energy sector, have provided the Iranian youth with opportunities to show and make use of their talents and help to the countryˈs self-sufficiency. ˈToday, the global arrogance is trying to halt the Islamic systemˈs growing trend through launching economic war within the framework of sanctioning the countryˈs oil, gas and energy industries,ˈ the official said. He noted that given the fact that 70 percent of the countryˈs resources and gas production is situated in South Pars and Assalouyeh, the oil industryˈs engineers and experts have heavier burden to shoulder in a bid to defeat the enemies and prevent them from achieving their objectives./end
