WHO`s leadership hails Azerbaijan`s achievements in healthcare system

Baku, February 5 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev has attended the 132nd session of the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland. According to the ministry, Ogtay Shiraliyev has held meetings with heads of the delegations from Lithuania, Norway, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Russia and Estonia. The meetings focused on cooperation issues in healthcare and medicine. The Azerbaijani minister also met director general of the WHO Margaret Chan to discuss the country`s cooperation prospects with the WHO and its Regional Office for Europe. Director General of the WHO expressed her satisfaction with Azerbaijan`s support to reforms implemented by the WHO.
