Iran calls new U.S. sanctions another hostile measure

TEHRAN,Feb.7(MNA) – The new sanctions imposed on Iran by the United States are “another link in the chain of hostile actions” against the Islamic Republic, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said on Wednesday. According to Bloomberg, a new set of U.S. sanctions which took effect on February 6 requires buyers of Iranian oil to pay in local currency in escrow accounts and bar Iran from repatriating profits.
