Iranian ex-minister says is in talks with reformists for presidential candidacy

TEHRAN,Feb.11(MNA) – Former trade minister Mohammad Shariatmadari said on Sunday that he is in talks with a majority of reformists “whose hearts are filled with the love of the system” to prepare the ground for his presidential candidacy. Mohammad Shariatmadari said coalition among each of the two main political camps – reformists and principlists – will serve the interests of the country. Shariatmadari served as trade minister under former president Mohammad Khatami for two consecutive terms.
