New principlist party established

TEHRAN,Feb.14(MNA) – The Executives of Development and Prosperity of Islamic Iran group has been established. The group includes 31 incumbent MPs and a number of prominent principlist figures. The group will field candidates for the fourth city council elections, which is scheduled to be held concurrent with the presidential election on June 14. It will present a single list of principlist candidates in the election. Tehran City Council Chairman Mehdi Chamran and former Majlis speaker Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel are among the members. The group will officially announce its establishment at a press briefing on February 18.
