Nuclear talks can make progress if Iran makes real offers: Kerry

TEHRAN,Feb.16(MNA) – U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Thursday that the nuclear talks between Iran and world powers could make progress only if Iran was determined to make “real offers and engage in a real dialogue,” the Voice of America reported. Kerry also said it was incumbent on Iran to prove it is open to a diplomatic resolution. Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) are scheduled to hold a new round of talks over the country’s nuclear program on February 26 in Kazakhstan. The United States and a number of its allies claim Iran may be trying to build a nuclear bomb. Iran says its nuclear program is meant only for peaceful civilian purposes.
