4th World Soil Carpet Finished In Hormoz Island

Bandar Abbas, Feb 16, IRNA – The fourth world soil carpet was made in the Persian Gulf Island of Hormoz by 30 artists who worked on it for one week. Art director of the project Ahmad Kargaran told IRNA on Friday evening that four tons of colorful soil of the island has been used to create the 1,400 square-meter carpet. The soil in Hormoz Island mountains has different colors and every year art groups create soil carpets with natural materials on the coast of the island./end
