Funeral procession held for Ayatollah Khoshvaqt

TEHRAN,Feb.24(MNA) – A funeral procession was held for Ayatollah Azizollah Khoshvaqt on Saturday at the campus of the University of Tehran. Ayatollah Khoshvaqt, 86, who was a distinguished seminary teacher, passed away on Wednesday morning. Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei attended the funeral procession. Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, and Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi have issued separate messages of condolence over the death of Ayatollah Khoshvaqt.
