Almaty talks were a step forward: Iranian diplomat

TEHRAN,March 5(MNA) – The latest round of nuclear talks between Iran the 5+1 group (the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia, And Germany) in Almaty, Kazakhstan, were a step forward, an Iranian Foreign Ministry official said.
Due to the fact that the time and place for the next meeting has been set, and that the two sides have offered a number of proposals for discussion, it shows that the meeting was a “step forward”, Hassan Qashqavi told a group of students in the western city of Ilam.
Commenting on the sanctions imposed on the country, he noted that although the sanctions have hurt the people, especially the middle class, they have failed to disrupt Iran’s nuclear program.
