Iran Envoy Describes Tehran-Beijing Ties As Strategic

Beijing, March 16, IRNA - Iranˈs Ambassador to China Mehdi Safari here on Saturday described Tehran-Beijing ties as strategic. Talking to IRNA, Safari said over 100 Iranian and Chinese high-ranking delegations were exchanged during the current Iranian year, to end March 21, 2013, to help enhance cultural, economic, politics and parliamentary relations between the two nations. He expressed hope that bilateral cooperation would continue in all areas with the help of new Chinese government. The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its development amid pressures being exerted by the West, safari noted./end
