Malaysia to Host 7th IAS Conference

KUALA LUMPUR, March 22 (Bernama) -- Leading scientists, clinicians, public health experts and community leaders from all over the world will gather at the KL Convention Centre from June 30 to July 3 to discuss latest developments in HIV-related research. The 7th International AIDS Society (IAS) Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention (IAS 2013) is aimed at sharing the latest research in biomedical aspects of the virus and effective ways to prevent and treat the epidemic. Held every two years, the event organised by IAS in partnership with the Centre of Excellence for Research in AIDS, University of Malaya with support of the Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau marks the first time the conference will be held in Asia. -- BERNAMA
