FM spokesman meets Belarus counterpart

Minsk, Belarus, March 30, IRNA - Visiting Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast in a meeting here on Friday afternoon with his Belarus counterpart Andrei Savinykh called for reinforcing all-out ties between the two nations. Mehmanparast also called for expansion of direct media cooperation between Iran and Belarus mass media. He voiced Iranˈs readiness to exchange media delegation with Belarus and open media representative bureau in Tehran and Minsk. Citing such measures as useful, Savinykh, for his part, welcomed Mehmanparastˈs proposals. Mehmanparast is currently in Minsk heading a media delegation consisting of journalists from the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and several Iranian press.
