Iranian ambassador submits credentials to Ugandan president

TEHRAN,April 9(MNA) – Iran’s new ambassador to Kampala, Amir Hossein Nik, has submitted his credentials to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s press office reported on Monday. During the meeting, Museveni hailed Iran’s participation in the implementation of development projects in Uganda and called for the expansion of economic and trade ties. The Iranian ambassador said he would make every effort to help strengthen relations between the two countries.
