Iranian poet’s collection published in Germany

TEHRAN,April 10(MNA) – A collection of poems by Iranian writer Ali Ghazanfari has recently been published in Leipzig, Germany. Entitled “Mein Herz, Freiheit, Wand” (“My Heart, Freedom, Wall”), the collection contains 74 poems. Ghazanfari writes in German. Love, freedom, friendship, peace, and kindness are the main themes of the poems of the collection, which has been released by Engelsdorfer Publications. “Und Auch Die Steine Reden”, Ghazanfari’s previous collection was published by Engelsdorfer in 2010. Ghazanfari has previously have translated works by Iranian classical poets Sadi, Hafez and Rumi into German, all of which have been published by Engelsdorfer. He has also rendered works by German authors into Persian. Eva Strittmatter’s “Love and Hatred”, which has been translated by Ghazanfari, will offered by Kara Payam Publications at the 26th Tehran International Book Fair in May 2013.
