Indian business people show interest in mining investment

(KPL) Indian businesspeople have shown an interest in mining investment in Laos.
This was according to a proposal of Indian businesspeople which was presented by an Indian candidate for honourable consular of Laos, based in Kolkata, West Bengal State, India, to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Phongsavath Boupha in Vientiane on 31 October,.
Indian businesspeople proposal is interesting in mining exploration and investment in Laos. The meeting was also attended by Mr Ly Bounkham, Lao Ambassador to India, and an Indian businesspeople delegation led by an Indian candidate for honourable consular of Laos, Mr Jain, on his Laos’s visit.
The Indian businesspeople showed their interest in conducting a feasibility study in mining investment in Laos. Now Indian investors are now investing in the exploration of iron ore mines in Houaphanh province, northeastern Laos.
During the visit, the Indian businesspeople provided US$5,000 for the development of basic education of Laos.
