Iran`s Zakani vows to fight inflation, corruption if he wins presidency

TEHRAN,April 29(MNA) – Iranian presidential hopeful Alireza Zakani vows to curb inflation, stabilize prices, bring down prices to real levels, and launch a balanced development across the country if he succeeds to win the June election.
During a press conference in Tehran on Sunday, Zakani also said fighting financial corruption is among his top priorities.
He also vowed to pay special attention to the production sector.
The principlist lawmaker added that along with creating wealth in the society the government should seriously consider ways to distribute wealth among different folks.
The presidential contender said his team has drawn up plans to alleviate poverty in the country.
Elsewhere is his remarks, Zakani said that in case he wins the June election, he will hold a meeting with his rivals.
He also said competition should not violate ethical standards.
He also criticized Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’ government for failing to fulfill its promises, saying today the government is engaged in pursuing electoral activities instead of tackling economic problems.
