‘Khatami does not rule out presidential candidacy’

TEHRAN,April 29(MNA) – Former President Mohammad Khatami does not rule out his candidacy for the June presidential election, according to Hassan Rassouli, a former deputy interior minister. Khatami was previously determined not to run for president, but now he is saying that he does not rule out his candidacy, the reformist politico told the Mehr News Agency in an interview published on Sunday. “He (Khatami) is assessing different influential factors at social and governmental levels,” Rassouli said.
