‘Israel the only impediment to establishment of nuclear-weapon-free zone in ME’

TEHRAN,May 1(MNA) – Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency has said that Israel, which is not a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, is the only impediment to the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone in the Middle East. Ali Asghar Soltanieh made the remarks during a meeting of the Preparatory Committee for the 2015 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, Iranian media reported on Tuesday.
