Iranian presidential candidate Velayati outlines economic plans

TEHRAN,May 7(MNA) – Ali Akbar Velayati, who is a member of a three-member principlist coalition planning to contest Iran’s June 14 presidential election, on Monday elaborated on his economic plans if elected president. Velayati said that his economic plans consisted of three stages. In the first stage, the government should adopt measures to restore economic stability, then it should promote economic indices to achieve a flourishing economy, and at the third stage it should make efforts to boost economic efficiency, he explained.
