Azeri people and government are in our heart: Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN,May 20(MNA) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad described the Tehran-Baku relations as brotherly and called for the expansion of ties between the two countries. “Iran and Azerbaijan have always supported one another,” Ahmadinejad said in a meeting with Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade in Tehran on Saturday. “People and government of Azerbaijan are in our heart and the Islamic Republic of Iran wholeheartedly seeks dignity, progress and welfare for the people of Azerbaijan.”
