Iran appoints new envoy to UN office in Geneva

TEHRAN,May 25(MNA) – Iran’s new permanent representative to the United Nations office at Geneva, Mohsen Naziri-Asl, has presented his credentials to the director-general of the UN office in Geneva, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During the meeting on Wednesday, Naziri-Asl called on the United Nations to pave the ground to promote cooperation in the international arena.
